Programme of the Summit

To address the issue of ‘Winning in the New Retail Environment’, department stores will have to perform in four key segments: products (adjust to demand, provide the right assortments), technology (offer the right distribution channels, improve customer service, optimize processes and use new technology), people (develop a strong company culture, train and develop staff, build special relationship with customers) and establish the store as a stage (entice and entertain customers, attract new customers). The two days programme of GDSS is organized around these four key drivers.
